Our team is a dedicated group of innovators, designers and thinkers. We bring together decades of experience and knowledge from a variety of fields to apply concepts and technologies uncommon to our industry to create the most unique products in the market.
Michele Logan is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of CompoSecure, where she oversees all aspects of the business enterprise with a focus on innovation, examining the potential for new products, and ways we can incorporate new technology into our products.
She began her career at Prudential Insurance Company as a computer programmer. Michele transitioned easily to Sillcocks in 1991 due to her extensive internship experience there during college. She learned all aspects of the company, starting in sales and then production management before returning to sales five years later to head up the department.
After starting CompoSecure with John Herslow and Luis Dasilva in 2000, Michele managed the front end of the business until her move into the VP and General Manager role in 2004. She became Chief Executive Officer of CompoSecure in 2012, and then Executive Chairman in 2017. Michele now leads the organization’s senior leadership in setting and tracking strategic organizational goals, as well as qualifying and leading the development of new innovations for the firm.
Michele has overseen the move of the business to a new state of the art facility that allowed for significant expansion of output capacity. She also built experienced production management and administrative teams, while maintaining CompoSecure’s pursuit of innovation and ongoing investment in technology.
Michele graduated from Boston University with a BA in Computer Science and minor in Business Administration. She also holds an MBA degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Industrial Management.
Jon Wilk is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of CompoSecure where he leads all aspects of the business including Sales and Business Development, Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing activities of the company.
Jon brings more than 20 years of experience in banking, management consulting, and private equity portfolio companies which will help drive the future growth of CompoSecure. He most recently served as President of PayChoice (acquired by Sage Software), a leading provider of SaaS-based payroll, HR, and tax-filing solutions with similar responsibilities.
Prior to PayChoice, Jon was with JPMorgan Chase, where he joined as the Head of Product and Chief Marketing Officer for the Consumer Bank. He was responsible for checking, savings, debit, and prepaid products as well as brand and advertising and sponsorships for consumer banking. He has also held several senior positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, including the Global Head of Product for Treasury Services and the Head of Consumer and Small Business Deposits. Prior to his banking experience, Jon was a management consultant with firms including Booz, Allen and Hamilton and Mercer Management Consulting.
Jon holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University with majors in Strategy, Marketing, and Finance and a BS in Business Management from Pennsylvania State University.
Timothy Fitzsimmons is the Chief Financial Officer of CompoSecure and is responsible for all accounting and finance activities. He brings 30 years of experience in accounting and finance to CompoSecure with 10 years of direct industry experience.
Timothy began his career with Coopers & Lybrand in New York City where he earned his CPA certificate in 1985. In 1989 he joined DataCard in Minneapolis, MN as part of the Corporate Finance team before becoming the Controller of Plastic Card Operations for DataCard North America in 1991. Four years later, Timothy joined GE Capital as Global Controller of their modular leasing business, earning his Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification and managing a global finance team.
Timothy joined Title Resource Group in 2000 before starting his own consulting firm, Your CFO Controller, LLC in 2009. CompoSecure was a client of his beginning in 2012, and he joined the company as CFO in 2014. During his tenure, he has been responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting and leads the strategic planning and budgeting processes for CompoSecure as a part of the senior leadership team.
Tim holds an MBA with a finance concentration from Drexel University and a BS from St. John’s University in New York.
Greg Maes is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CompoSecure and responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and management of all company manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality and maintenance. Greg will partner with the CompoSecure Senior Leadership Team in setting and driving the organizational vision, operational strategy and hiring needs for the company.
Greg brings more than 25 years of payment card experience, which will contribute to building a highly inclusive company culture, ensuring team members thrive and operational outcomes are met and surpassed. He is fluent in English, Chinese, French and German, due to spending half of his career outside of the U.S.
Most recently, he was the Global Chief Operating Officer for ABCorp, where he led the EMV and Dual interface readiness efforts and group initiatives including ERP or operational efficiencies across the organization. He also held operational management and leadership positions for IDEMIA in Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) and Gemplus (Gemalto, now part of Thales) in Singapore and China. Greg was involved in Smart Card deployment in factories (SIM cards, EMV, Dual Interface or Government ID cards), technology transfers between sites, and set up of new factories and personalization centers.
Greg has a Chemistry and Physics degree from the Graduate School of Chemistry and Physics of Bordeaux, France.
Adam Lowe is the Chief Innovation Officer at CompoSecure. Adam leads a team of engineers and technicians responsible for new product innovation and development, process innovation, and prototype design. Adam also serves as the technical lead, curating and expanding CompoSecures’s extensive patent portfolio. Adam joined CompoSecure in 2014 as a Principal Research Engineer and has held several positions of progressive responsibility.
Prior to CompoSecure, Adam held an innovation development role at SRC Inc., a not-for-profit R&D company supporting the US defense and intelligence communities. At SRC, Adam led the company’s Biotechnology Advanced Technology Initiative, guiding a team developing classified technology.
Adam holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University where he researched bio-nanotechology and a BS in Microbiology from Salisbury University. Adam has published in a variety of peer reviewed journals, authored technical book chapters, and is listed as an inventor on over a dozen patents and patents pending.
As CompoSecure’s Vice President of Technical Sales, Stephen Luft directs all sales and marketing activities and oversees customer design projects and account management. Prior to joining CompoSecure in February 2012, Stephen served as the Director of Customer Solutions at Opsec Security and held two other positions there since 1998. His most recent accomplishment at Opsec was the identification of agents in China and Southeast Asia for critical projects in those regions, and Stephen brings agent relationships to CompoSecure from Russia, Ukraine, Argentina, Brazil, China and India. His technical background is also instrumental in guiding our clients through material and design options to perfect the look and feel of their card design.
Stephen holds an MBA in International Business and Finance from Indiana University and a BS in International Economics from Georgetown University.
Lewis Rubovitz is the Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development where he is responsible for partnering with the sales team to support domestic and international growth in our business while assisting the management team develop short and long-range strategic plans for the organization. In addition, Lewis develops competitive and market intelligence capabilities and evaluates new opportunities to grow revenue and lower costs in the business.
Bringing over 15 years of industry experience, Lewis previously worked at American Express supporting the US Consumer, Enterprise Growth, and Global Commercial Services teams providing support to the business units to achieve their strategic and financial objectives. He partnered closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales/Account Development in designing payment product value propositions, investment optimization, and partnership distribution models. He also helped launch new features and platforms targeting the premium consumer and commercial segments by factoring in customer needs, profitability, and the competitive environment.
Prior to American Express, Lewis was a Senior Financial and Promotional Spending Analyst at Revlon focused on optimizing the company’s advertising budget and inventory management. Lewis began his career at C. R. Bard as a Senior Sales and Marketing Analyst responsible for profit margin, pricing strategy, and competitor analysis for contract negotiations.
Lewis holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, majoring in Marketing and Finance along with a BBA in Marketing from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
Dori Skelding is the Vice President of Marketing & Pre-Production Services, where she brings almost 30 years of experience in banking, printing, vendor management and card manufacturing to CompoSecure. She leads the marketing efforts as well as Graphics, Production Planning and Supply Chain, including Purchasing, Production Planning, and Inventory Management.
Dori’s previous experience includes developing new design innovations for payment cards as part of the Global Brand team for Visa, providing creative solutions that incorporate technology with a wide variety of materials and production techniques to provide innovative card designs. In addition, she partnered with all Visa approved card vendors on the assessment of card design innovation qualifications.
Prior to Visa, Dori was Senior Business Operations Manager, Production and Supplier Operations for Chase Card Services. In this role, Dori had the responsibility for the research and development of card designs and production/manufacturing of consumer and business credit cards for the JP Morgan Chase enterprise. In close partnership with CompoSecure, Dori played a key role in the design and manufacturing of cards for JP Morgan Palladium, Chase Sapphire Preferred, United Mileage Club, Marriott Rewards and The Ritz Carlton Rewards card programs.
A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Dori holds a BS in Printing Management and she has experience in materials management, print manufacturing of trade publications and credit card production. She has previously served as the General Member representative on the Smart Card Alliance board and was part of the Interim Management Committee for the EMV Migration Forum. She also served as the Visa representative on the INCITS B10.11 working committee and is active with ICMA where she is currently designated with ACE Manufacturing, Personalization and most recently Advanced accreditations.
Dan Dundon is CompoSecure’s Senior Vice President of Operations, responsible for Production, Quality, Maintenance, Security, and Safety. Dan brings to CompoSecure over 30 years’ direct experience in the card manufacturing industry.
Dan started his career in commercial printing before joining DataCard in 1985 as a litho press operator. He moved through several management and project management positions with DataCard, Gemplus and Gemalto from 1993 to 2001, culminating in a 7 year period as a Plant Manager of Gemplus/Gemalto. Upon leaving Gemalto in 2008, Dan spent 4 years with Switzerland based, NagraID and NagraID Security as the Director of Quality and Supply Chain.
Dan joined CompoSecure in 2012 as our Manufacturing Manager before progressing into the positions of Director of Quality and Process Improvement and currently, SVP of Operations.
Luis DaSilva is the Vice President of Design Innovation at CompoSecure and was one of the original founders of the company. Luis is responsible for new product development with a focus on card composition and process parameters. He began working for the Herslow Family at Sillcocks Plastics fourty years ago when he arrived here in the United States from Portugal at the age of eighteen.
Since the inception of CompoSecure, Luis has held a variety of operational positions including Plant Manager, R&D Technician, Machine Designer, and Process Development Engineer. Luis has been the key developer in many of the groundbreaking award winning products that CompoSecure has commercialized over the years. In 2012 Luis became the Vice President of R&D to focus his time on developing the next generation of innovation at CompoSecure.
