As Arculus General Manager, Michael Hughes owns the Arculus P&L and leads cross-functional efforts across the business, with a strong focus on revenue generation, go-to-market strategy, and vertical and industrial expansion. He drives the vision for Arculus across both its core offerings and new markets, building and expanding partnerships with financial institutions and fintechs, networks, and platforms. Arculus is a secure, hardware-backed digital identity and authentication platform that combines patented card-based security, mobile authentication, and enterprise-grade controls to protect people, organizations, and digital assets in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
Michael brings substantial experience to the organization. He is a seasoned senior executive with over two decades of experience building and scaling high-performance enterprise software go-to-market teams, including experience with cryptocurrency, identity and security.
He has played key leadership roles in successful businesses, contributing to six exits via IPO or acquisition. Michael’s achievements include building and accelerating go-to-market teams, driving significant growth, and expanding global partnerships at companies like Duality Technologies, Unbound Security, Bonfire Interactive, ScaleArc, WatchDox, and IBM Rational.
Michael holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a BS in Computer Engineering from Clemson University.
